Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for Senior Philanthropy Manager to join our Relationship Fundraising team and be based in London or Manchester.
About us and the role
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
Our new Senior Philanthropy Manager will join Centrepoint off the back of continuous growth over the last 4 years in the major donor program. An area of focus that has investment to grow and to keep that success going.
You will lead the strategy development and implementation for our HNWI team of 4 to work with our existing donors and a large warm portfolio in delivery our organisational strategy to end youth homelessness by 2037.
About you
- You will have experience of managing a major gifts team
- You will be a leader committed to developing their team to achieve their organisational and personal goals
- Understand the principles of philanthropy and able to explain the impact it can have on making change both internally and externally
- Be able to create and implement a growth plan to grow the income for your area
