Location: Hurst Newton Supported Living Scheme, Bersham Road, Wrexham, LL14 4HD
Contract: Fixed‑term maternity cover until
January 2027
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week; rolling rota including days, nights & weekends)
About The Service
Hurst Newton is a supported living scheme in Wrexham for young people aged 16-25 who are experiencing homelessness.

confidence, skills, and independence they need to move forward with their lives.

About The Role
As a
Homeless Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting young people on their journey toward independence.
In this role, you will:
- Provide practical and emotional support, helping residents develop essential life skills
- Encourage wellbeing, inclusion, and positive engagement with the community
- Support individuals with complex needs, including mental health and housing challenges
- Build trusting, professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records using internal systems
