HR Business Partner

Joining our client as an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy for your designated business areas, ensuring alignment with the organisation's new corporate plan, "Tenants at Heart". Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll proactively drive workforce planning, leadership development, and change initiatives, helping to create a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to:
- Strategic People Planning & Talent Development – Partnering with senior leaders on strategic workforce planning initiatives, forecasting talent needs, and identifying succession and development opportunities
- Stakeholder Engagement – Building strong, credible relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and driving people performance.
- Employee Relations & Compliance – Providing expert advice on complex HR cases, ensuring a risk-based approach to employee relations and compliance.
- Change & Transformation – Managing business change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE and organisational transformation.
- Learning & Leadership Development – Identifying skills gaps and working with the Talent team to implement leadership and management development programs.
- Performance & Engagement – Using HR analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, engagement, and performance to inform decision-making.
The ideal candidate? They need a strategic and commercially astute HR leader with:
- MCIPD professional status (or equivalent experience).
- A strong background in HR business partnering, with experience advising on complex employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, and change programs.
- Proven experience of partnering with senior managers to influence and drive organisational and people performance.
- A data-driven mindset, with experience of using insights to influence business decisions and workforce strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and coaching skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to drive cultural change and challenge constructively.
