Salary: £45,540 - £54,338 (Salary is dependent on location and includes London weighting where applicable)
Contract: Permanent, Full time (37.5 hours)

As the Employee Engagement Lead, you’ll take the helm in transforming how our employees connect with their work and our mission, from their first interaction with us as candidates to their entire journey as valued colleagues. Collaborating closely with senior leaders, the People Team, and internal teams, you’ll design strategies, frameworks, and tools to enhance engagement across every stage of the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Deliver Frameworks: Lead on creating employee experience frameworks that foster a culture of trust and alignment with our organisational values.
- Measure and Assess Engagement: Develop tools to evaluate and enhance employee engagement across the organisation.
- Elevate Internal Communication: Work alongside the Internal Communications Team to ensure every voice is heard and valued.
- Collaborate on Employer Branding: Partner with the Internal Recruitment Lead to refine and amplify our employer brand and values.
- Innovate On boarding: Create on boarding experiences that set the tone for engagement and make every moment count.
- Policy and Practice Analysis: Assess how people practices and policies impact the employee experience and recommend improvements.
- Drive Strategic Vision: Lead the delivery of the People and Culture Strategy alongside the senior people team.
- Oversee Pay and Rewards: Manage the pay and rewards programme, including annual salary reviews and recommendations.
- Survey Leadership: Conduct the annual all-colleague survey and analyse results to drive actionable change.
What You Will Need
We’re seeking a collaborative and strategic thinker who excels in building trust, driving engagement, and shaping organisational culture.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Proven expertise in employee engagement, HR, or culture transformation roles, with a track record of designing and implementing effective engagement strategies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organisation.
- Strategic and detail-oriented mindset, capable of connecting the bigger picture with actionable initiatives.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making, including analysing employee engagement metrics, assessing the impact of policies, and identifying actionable improvements.
- Proficiency in overseeing pay and rewards practices, including managing annual salary reviews and aligning them with organisational goals.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in organisational development (preferred).
- Advanced skills in process mapping and data analysis, with a focus on delivering practical solutions to enhance employee experience.
- Budget management experience, including working with external consultants to deliver cost-effective results.
- A passion for creating employee-centric cultures- that align with organisational values and support people at every stage of their journey.
