Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for an Innovation Manager to join our Fundraising Strategy & Operations Team based in London.
About us
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
The Fundraising Strategy & Operations Team deliver the Fundraising strategy (and associated strategies) and provide high quality operations to support the Fundraising Directorate. The team has a variety of different functions including Supporter Care, Strategic Liaison with Service teams, Compliance, Supporter Journeys and Communications as well as general administration. The team deliver small and large scale process and systems projects to ensure fundraisers can focus on excellent relationships with donors and supporters.
About you
- A proven track record of identifying, developing and delivering innovation ideas into new products and activities for Fundraising.
- Experience of using an insight led innovation processes to develop new and existing activities and products
- Experience of developing and championing innovation culture and ways of working across an organisation
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills
- An innovative thinker with demonstrable skills in developing solutions
- Strong project management skills and the ability to implement projects across multiple teams to deadlines
- Ability to inspire and motivate others toward shared goals
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and oversee pilot projects aligned with Centrepoint’s strategic goals, using a range of agreed innovation methodology for a full project lifecycle of new programmes of work from conceptualisation to implementation, ensuring deliverables are achieved within scope, budget, and timeline.
- You will gather key insights into audiences and support all teams within the Fundraising Directorate to grow and develop new and existing fundraising propositions.
- Lead initial research into target audiences identified in the needs assessment, through surveys, focus groups and interviews
