Are you passionate about reducing homelessness?
Whether due to housing insecurity or poor mental health, more people are experiencing crises than ever before. At Connection Support, we believe in a future free from crisis, but when crises do happen, we’re there every step of the way.
Our Milton Keynes service provides short-term supported accommodation (28 days) for people who are homeless. We offer wrap-around support to help people gain the skills and confidence to live independently.

We’re recruiting full time Support Workers to join our team.
The impact you’ll have
Working as part of a team, you’ll support adults (18+) to access services and resources that help them move into sustainable accommodation and live independently. In this role, you will make a significant difference to people’s lives by helping them build stability, confidence, and hope for the future.
This may include:
- Housing options, benefits, employment, education, or training
- Accessing food banks, mental health support, and substance misuse services
- Building essential life skills such as budgeting and paying bills
- Re-establishing connections with family, friends, and the wider community
Role Details - Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 12-hour shifts (average 38.5 hours per week)
- Shift Pattern: (includes, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)
- Week 1: 4 days on, 3 days off
- Week 2: 3 days on, 4 days off
- Shift Times: Currently under review and will be confirmed at interview, but are likely to fall between 7:00am and 10:00pm
- Salary: £27,418 - £28,541 per annum, dependent on experience
- Closing Date: Friday 22 May
- Interviews: Thursday 28 May

About You
You’ll share our passion for supporting people through both the challenges and successes in their journey. You believe in celebrating progress, however small, and walking alongside people on the difficult days too.
You will bring:
- Experience of working with people in supported accommodation who are experiencing homelessness or have a history of rough sleeping.
- Experience supporting individuals with additional needs, including substance misuse or mental health challenges.
- The ability to maintain accurate case notes and records, with a basic level of IT literacy.
- A compassionate, resilient and person-centred approach to support.
As this role includes supporting people within the community, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be preferred.
