Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday)Contract dates: ASAP for at least 1 month (cover is needed due to staff shortages during the summer holiday period)Pay rate: £52 PAYE or £59 Umbrella (no limited company workers will be accepted)
In your role you will:Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies on prescribing issues.Cover clinics at various locations and travel between services, predominantly within the Crawley and Mid-Sussex areas, although this may extend to other locations as required.Provide cover for outreach clinics delivered through homeless support services.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:Current NMC registration.Previous post-registration experience as an NMP within substance misuse services.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
