We have an exciting new role within our High Support Accommodation and Community Rehabilitation services and are looking for a candidate who can ensure that we are able to provide a high quality housing and property management service to Second Step tenants.
We aim to be service user centred and to give our tenants (who have a range of complex needs) the most positive and supportive tenancy experience possible.
This is a challenging role with varied work streams and many interchanging deadlines, so we are looking for someone with good organisational skills and attention to detail. Equally we are looking for someone who displays initiative, is self-motivated and is a team player.

The Person

- Experience working in Housing Management, ideally within a social housing environment.
- Experience working in the mental health sector or other supportive environments.
- Computer literate, familiarity with Microsoft packages, and experience using a client management database.
- Awareness of current housing issues and tenancy sustainment.
- Knowledge of welfare benefits related to housing.
- Experience of completing health and safety inspections and mandatory compliance checks.
- Good, clear, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Awareness of issues faced by people with mental health issues. xlqdzyr
- An understanding of addiction and the impacts of substance misuse, and experience of working with vulnerable people who have experienced trauma and may have complex and challenging support needs
- The ability to travel throughout the Bristol area in a timely manner
