We’re looking for a flexible and compassionate Peripatetic Support Worker to provide essential cover across our services and support individuals to live independently.
This is permanent, full-time position working 36 hours per week.
You will need a full, current driving license and use of a vehicle.
What you'll do
This varied role involves working across multiple locations, often at short notice, delivering trauma-informed support to a wide range of people including older adults, individuals with mental health needs, young people, and those with physical disabilities, chronic illnesses, or substance misuse issues. You will help people maintain their tenancies, develop life skills, and improve their overall wellbeing through practical and emotional support.
What you'll need
You will need to be adaptable, empathetic, and confident working independently across different environments. The role requires experience supporting people with complex needs, an understanding of housing and homelessness, and strong communication and organisational skills. A flexible approach is essential, along with the ability to travel between services. A relevant qualification, knowledge of trauma-informed practice or ACEs, and the ability to speak Welsh or another language would be advantageous.
