Rate: £30 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Initial 2-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Hours: Full-Time – 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: 4 Days Office-Based | 1 Day Remote

Seven Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Options Advisor to support a busy local authority Housing Options team in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled homelessness professional to step into a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact supporting individuals at risk of homelessness.
This role requires strong Housing Options / Homelessness experience, with the ability to manage a complex caseload and deliver legally compliant housing advice in line with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive housing advice and homelessness prevention support
- Complete detailed housing needs assessments in line with statutory duties
- Create and manage Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs)
- Draft and issue legally compliant decision letters
- Independently manage a busy caseload of housing applicants
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records
- Work collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies
- Support the team with additional casework as required
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a Housing Options / Homelessness role (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017
- Experience completing: Housing assessments, Personalised Housing Plans (PHPs), Decision letters
- Ability to manage cases independently in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
