Call Handler - Part Time/Full Time/Nights
25 to 37.5 hour per week
Example Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday: 17:00pm - 22:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 08:00am - 14:00pm
- Monday to Friday: 22:00pm - 06:30am
- Saturday & Sunday: 14:00pm - 22:00pm

We’re looking for flexible Call Handler to join our Blackburn based team. You’ll support councils and housing associations by following their procedures and responding to a wide range of emergencies, from homelessness and urgent repairs to dangerous structures and more
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling emergencies: Assess and manage urgent situations with speed and empathy
- Documenting calls: Accurately record all interactions using our systems
- Taking swift action: Respond promptly to customer needs and information
- Providing support: Guide callers through basic troubleshooting step
What we are looking for in your CV:
- High-volume comfort: Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Professional and caring: Confident, patient, and empathetic on the phone
- Customer-focused: Experience in a similar role is a plus
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using multiple systems and Microsoft Office
- Flexible and adaptable: Embraces change and new technology
- Multitasker: Can follow procedures while staying curious and detail-oriented
- Experience: Previous work in care, customer service, or call centres is desirable
