Are you looking for a way to use your dentistry skills to really help people who need it most? Dentaid The Dental Charity provides mobile outreach dental services for people experiencing homelessness, harm, poverty and abuse and has a growing number of projects for those in greatest need in the North East. This is a new opportunity for compassionate, flexible associates/ locums who can deliver emergency dentistry and ongoing oral health programmes across South Tyneside, County Durham and Tyne and Wear.
You’ll be working on a fully equipped mobile dental unit at venues such as community centres, hostels, drop-in services and family hubs operated by our charity partners. At each clinic you’ll be supported by a dental nurse, clinical supervisor and mobile dental unit officer along with support staff from the organisations we work alongside.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing dental charity that is changing lives through dental care. All applicants must be GDC registrants with at least two years post-qualification experience and have the right to practice in the UK.
