We are currently recruiting a Case Worker (covering maternity leave) to join our Adult Homeless Pathway team in Oxfordshire. The team provide support to homeless people over the age of 18.
The impact you will have
You will encourage people to develop their skills around debts, budgeting, social isolation, food, and other basic essentials, which enables them to gain and maintain their own accommodation, build networks and support them to live independently.
Every day is different, one day you could support someone to access vital health or support services, support someone in crisis, access educational or training opportunities, develop connections, the list is endless.
By listening to people’s dreams and aspirations and supporting them to achieve their goals, you will make a significant difference to someone’s life and help drive real change.
Contract: Fixed term until May 2026, covering maternity.
Hours: 30 hours per week, these can be worked across 4 or 5 days, 2 of which must be a Tuesday and Thursday. Some flexibility might be required on occasion.
Salary: £25,666- £27,981, per annum, pro rata, dependent on experience. (please note the salary advertised is the full time equivalent)

About You
People might describe you as a good listener, supportive, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile. If you’re someone who’s happy to listen and help others access the services they need, this could be the role for you.
Your experience may include working in areas such as homelessness, mental health, social work, substance or alcohol misuse, or with ex-offenders. It would be beneficial if you have some knowledge of applying for housing or benefits, understanding tenancy responsibilities, and supporting people with budgeting.
We actively welcome applications from individuals with lived experience.
You’ll also need a basic understanding of IT systems like Outlook and Word, as the role involves recording support provided and maintaining accurate case notes.
You will be supporting clients across Oxfordshire. The main office is in Wolvercote, Oxford. Due to the nature of this role, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
