Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Partnerships Grant Giving Officer to shape and deliver a pioneering funding programme. This hybrid role offers home working with an average of two days per week in our London, Manchester or Bromsgrove offices.

You’ll lead delivery of the More Than a Roof Grant programme, an ambitious grant-giving scheme funded by Nationwide. The programme supports over 100 partner charities, enabling them to turn institutional hostels into safe, personalised spaces that help young people heal and thrive.
About the Role
As Grant Giving Officer, you’ll:
- Manage all stages of grant-making—from outreach and application to funding decisions and evaluations
- Work closely with Centrepoint’s Grant Allocations Board
- Coordinate the launch and delivery of three grant rounds
- Build relationships with grantees, stakeholders and sector partners
- Maintain accurate data and a compliant grants management system
- Monitor the impact of funded projects through evidence-based reporting
This is Centrepoint’s first externally-facing grant fund—so you’ll help shape a groundbreaking model that reaches smaller youth homelessness organisations with specialist local knowledge.

We’re looking for someone who is:
- A strategic thinker with strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Empathetic and committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
- Detail-oriented and confident managing data, systems, and governance
- Curious and proactive, always seeking better ways to serve the sector
- Capable of delivering in a fast-paced envrionment with real social impact
