Are you interested in working for a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of vulnerable adults?
We are currently recruiting for one full time role (37.5 hours per week) and one part time role (18.75 hours per week).
About the role
Housing Led is a St Mungo’s service that provides independent tenancies and intensive personalised support to clients. By adopting a flexible, creative and personalised approach, Housing Led aims to support individuals to manage their tenancies in the community and improve their quality of life.
Unlike traditional pathways into homelessness accommodation, emphasis is placed on providing the accommodation first and then delivering a person-centred support package.
Housing Led workers are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the service; managing a small caseload of clients with the overall goal of working with them to sustain a new tenancy and support their recovery. Housing Led workers support clients to identify and prepare for move on to graduate from the service within 2-3 years.
In this role you will;
- Work within a dedicated and passionate team to support the recovery of those experiencing and at risk of homelessness.
- Triage referrals to the service and assess clients’ needs
- Manage a case load of clients across a geographical area, agreeing on-going client centred support planning objectives
- Support access to relevant resources and agencies internally and externally
About you
As the successful candidate, you will be;
- Passionate about supporting people with multiple and complex needs.
- Understanding of the needs and obstacles faced by those experiencing homelessness
- Flexible, proactive, compassionate and reliable
Above all we are looking for inspirational, committed individuals who have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives.
St Mungo's are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We strongly encourage applications from all under-represented groups.
