We are seeking a dedicated support worker to support residents living in our HMO accommodation. Our service provides safe, stable housing for individuals who may have experienced homelessness, mental health struggles, substance misuse, or other support needs. Your role will be to promote independence, maintain a safe living environment, and help residents move towards long term stability.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day to day support to residents, including help with budgeting, tenancy sustainment, life skills, and accessing community services.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well maintained HMO environment including regular checks in communal areas and rooms.
- Promote positive behaviour, personal responsibility and adhere to house rules.
- Support residents to engage with external agencies.
- Complete risk assessments and support plans.
- Respond to incidents calmly, and professionally, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Keep accurate records and reports.
About you
- Empathetic, patient, and confident in supporting individuals with multiple needs.
- Strong communication and maintain professional boundaries
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently
- Experience is ideal but not essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
