Job Title: Senior Complex Case Worker
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours)
Location: London
Salary: £40,518 - £47,377
Closing Date: 8th December 2025
Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Senior Complex Case Worker to join our Therapeutic Service based in London.
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.
Together with our partners, we support thousands of homeless young people each year.
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The current requirement is a minimum of two days in the office per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. From 1 July 2025, this will increase to a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.
What you will be doing:
- Lead a small Complex Case team supporting young people across Centrepoint services.
- Advocate for young people with complex needs and use relevant legislation to ensure they receive the support they are entitled to.
- Work collaboratively with frontline services to respond effectively to more serious mental health presentations and perceived risk.
- Work collaboratively with Therapeutic Services, PIE and Support & Housing colleagues as part of our Multi-Disciplinary Approach, delivering interventions to some of the most vulnerable young people at Centrepoint.
You will work closely with young people, so you should be an excellent communicator with an approachable, calm and understanding manner. You will work on a casework basis to develop person-centred support plans and provide ongoing support in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
