What your week may look like
- You will be responsible for the effective operational management of our Care Service (Hestia House) and the growth and development our of Care Pathways for people experiencing homelessness alongside a care need.
- You will line manage the Service Managers at allocated sites and provide day to day support, management, and leadership within the organisation.
- You will have overall responsibility for ensuring high quality services are delivered which meet CQC and all other relevant regulations and standards so audits and checks and balances will be part of your week.
- You will be the Registered Manager of regulated care services (for CQC purposes), reporting to the Director of Specialist Services.
- You will spend time with the people we support and our frontline teams providing visible and effective leadership

EXPERIENCE–
- Experience of working in care services
- Experience of safeguarding
- Experience of working with adults with care and support/mental health needs
- Experience of working with people who use drugs and alcohol
- Proven track record of successful development of schemes and projects
- Experience of managing compliance against KPI’s
KNOWLEDGE
- Specific knowledge of project management
- Specific knowledge of CQC standards
- Knowledge of problem-solving techniques and decision-making practices.
- Knowledge of interpreting information, data and research
SKILLS
- Ability to support and develop services
- Ability to support and develop staff teams
- Creative thinking
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a broad range of people
- Highly effective communication
- Administration skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office
- Confident in delivering presentations
- Ability to develop best practice networks in caring for people who experience homelessness.
- Ability to generate trust and credibility when working in a team and be reliable, approachable and discreet
- Commitment to personal development and self-reflection
- Supervision skills both on a one to one and in a group
- Credible

- Knowledge of:
- Housing law, employment law, planning law, health and safety legislation and charity law
- Knowledge of mental health policy and Mental Health Act/Mental Capacity Act
