Funded by Oxfordshire Homeless Movement, and working in partnership with Asylum Welcome, Soha and Edge Housing, the No Recourse to Public Funds team help people get their lives back on track.

We are currently recruiting for a Case Worker to join our team in Oxfordshire.
The impact you will have
Working with clients affected by migrant homelessness and with the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) condition, you will provide support to help individuals maintain their accommodation, build independence, and work toward personal goals. This includes preparing them for when their NRPF status is resolved, supporting with employment options where relevant and helping them to access relevant services including health.
You will also collaborate closely with Asylum Welcome to ensure clients can access appropriate immigration advice and support in resolving their NRPF status.
By attending meetings and liaising with project partners and external agencies, you will empower clients to find their voice, navigate systems, and move toward independent living
Contract: Permanent subject to funding
Hours: Part time, 30 Hours per week
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £25,666 - £27,981 pro rata - dependent on experience. Please note the salary shown is the full time equivalent.
Must have a full driving licence and access to a car for visiting clients throughout Oxfordshire.

About You
You will have experience working or volunteering with vulnerable or disadvantaged individuals, such as refugees, asylum seekers, forced migrants and mental health. Your approach is person-centred, and you are confident working with a diverse range of people, including those with significant mental health support needs and who have experienced trauma.
Ideally, you’ll have some understanding of the housing and welfare system, migrant homelessness, and the impact of having No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF). However, this knowledge is not essential, full training will be provided.
You recognise that building trust and strong relationships takes time. You’re committed to walking alongside people as they gain the confidence to apply for housing, seek employment, learn a new language, and begin settling into a new country.

As part of the role, you will be required to record case notes, so a basic level of IT skills is needed
