Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Trusts & Statutory Fundraising Officer to join our Fundraising Team based in London or Manchester.

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. We provide homeless young people with accommodation, mental health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
The Trust & Statutory Fundraising Officer will build relationships with funders to raise income for a variety of impactful services that transform the lives of homeless young people including; homelessness prevention, independent living skills, mental health services, education and training, employability, and capital projects.
You’ll be joining a team of 5 Trusts & Statutory fundraisers, as the team goes through an exciting period of growth. If you want to play a role in raising the resources that will help young people to escape homelessness and turn their lives around apply today!
What you will be doing
- Manage a portfolio of trusts and statutory donors (size of up to £30,000) who give both unrestricted and restricted gifts to Centrepoint
- Collaborate with service teams and finance colleagues to write restricted funding proposals and budgets
- Provide excellent stewardship to donors, producing high quality written communications and reports to sustain and uplift relationships
- Build strong relationships with donors through phone-calls and face to face meetings
- Research trust and statutory funders to identify new donors Centrepoint can work with
- Support the Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager on higher value funding opportunities (£30,000-£100,000)
- Maintain an up-to-date donor database for your portfolio of donors (Raiser’s Edge)
- Provide administrative support to the Trusts & Statutory team on internal processes, including recording income
- Work collaboratively with Officers across the wider Relationship Fundraising Team (which includes Philanthropy and Corporate fundraising)

The role is offered on a hybrid working basis with home working combined with 5 days per fortnight on average in our London or Manchester office.
