About us
Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join our Independent Living team based in London.
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
The Independent Living Programme is designed to support young people who are engaged on an apprenticeship or working full time in a permanent role. We work with young people who are taking their last few steps towards their own fully independent home.

What you’ll be doing
- Assessing and supporting young people to settle into their new independent living home
- Manage complex arrears cases to ensure young people remain in their home
- Support young people who are at risk of losing their tenancy and create action plans to prevent eviction
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Support with commissioning of new developments
