- Act as Fire Marshall as part of the duty rota
- Enforce house rules and policies in a respectful and supportive manner
- Work collaboratively with the Housing and Night Duty teams, providing detailed handovers
- Record incidents, safeguarding concerns, maintenance issues and relevant information using IT systems
- Complete housekeeping and light maintenance duties to ensure the building remains clean, safe and welcoming
- Support resident wellbeing by contributing to positive engagement and activities where appropriate
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in security, housing support, homelessness services or a related field
- Is enthusiastic about helping people thrive and achieve their potential
- Can build positive relationships and remain calm under pressure
- Uses initiative and responds confidently in emergency situations
- Has an empathetic, compassionate and non-judgemental approach
- Values diversity and works effectively as part of a team
- Maintains confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Is competent using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and other IT systems
- Has experience working with young people, including those with challenging behaviour, substance misuse and/or mental health needs (desirable)
