- Attracting great talent: Develop and deliver sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, talent databases, employee referrals and direct sourcing techniques.
- Partnering with hiring managers: Build strong relationships, understand recruitment needs, agree hiring approaches and provide expert advice on recruitment best practice and inclusive hiring.
- Creating a positive candidate experience: Manage the candidate journey from application through to pre-onboarding, keeping candidates and hiring managers informed throughout the process.
- Supporting interviews and assessments: Orchestrating interviews and assessment centres, providing recruitment guidance and support throughout the selection process.
- Maintaining compliance: Ensure recruitment records and systems are accurate, confidential and up to date, and coordinate pre-employment screening checks in line with organisational policies and legislative requirements.
- Using data to drive improvements: Monitor recruitment activity, analyse key metrics such as time to offer and agency spend, and identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and attraction strategies.
- Building future talent pipelines: Develop talent pools and contribute to employer branding and attraction initiatives that help Nacro reach a diverse range of candidates.
You’ll be someone who
- Has proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles, with a strong understanding of recruitment best practice and the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Confidently builds effective relationships with hiring managers and offers trusted recruitment advice.
- Has experience in developing and delivering candidate attraction strategies using a range of sourcing channels and understands current recruitment market trends.
- Is comfortable using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR systems to manage recruitment activity, maintain accurate records and produce reports.
- Has a good understanding of UK employment legislation, equality, diversity and inclusion, safer recruitment practices and pre-employment screening requirements.
- Communicates clearly and professionally, building positive relationships with candidates, colleagues and external recruitment partners.
- Is organised, accountable and able to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities while delivering within agreed timescales.
- Uses sound judgement, takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and looks for opportunities to improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
It would be desirable if you have experience recruiting within the charity, social care, justice, housing or public sector, alongside knowledge of workforce planning, establishment management, labour market intelligence or recruitment technologies.
