East Lindsey District Council are recruiting for a Sustainable Housing Support Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Home Energy Advice and Retrofit Team, supporting the delivery of high-profile programmes that help reduce fuel poverty, improve the energy efficiency of homes and support our wider climate change ambitions.

As the first point of contact for residents, you will provide support and guidance by phone, email and in person, assisting with grant applications, energy advice enquiries and programme administration. You will work closely with homeowners, landlords, contractors and colleagues to help ensure projects are delivered successfully and within agreed timescales. The role will also involve occasional visits to residents' homes and travel across Boston, South Holland and East Lindsey.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. We're looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a positive, customer-focused approach. Previous experience in housing, community support, administration or customer service would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an award-winning team making a significant difference to the lives of residents throughout South and East Lincolnshire. You will be part of a collaborative and flexible team with the benefits of hybrid working and regular social opportunities.

For this role we do require the successful applicant to complete a DBS check as part of the onboarding process.
