We Are Recruiting: Support Worker
Location: Pathway West (St Josephs, Childwall Park Av, Lichfield and Liverpool ICS)
Salary: £27,350 per year, pro rata
We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our caring team across our Pathway West Services. These include:
- St Joseph’s, a specialist rehabilitation service supporting individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Strokes, Acquired Brain Injuries, and a wide range of neurological conditions.
- Childwall Park Avenue, a supported living service for young adults with Physical and Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Mental Health needs.
- Lichfield Close, a specialised supported living service for individuals with Autism and Mental Health needs.
- Liverpool ICS, a unique service focused on enabling individuals to access their local community independently, empowering them to build confidence and enhance their quality of life.

Experience and Skills of a Support Worker:
Essential:
- Good listening and communication skills with people with a learning disability.
- Ability to encourage and enable service users to make choices and take control of their lives.
- Ability to assist with personal care while maintaining independence, privacy, and dignity.
- Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
Desirable:
- Previous healthcare experience, ideally supporting individuals with complex needs (physical and learning disabilities).

Hours of Work
- Part-time: 19.5 hours per week
- Full-time: 39 hours per week
