At YMCA Brunel Group, we are dedicated to creating supportive and inclusive communities where people feel they truly belong and can thrive. As part of the global YMCA movement, we operate across Mendip, Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire, and South Somerset, making a real impact in people’s lives.

What We Do:

  • Housing Support: Every year, we provide accommodation for over 700 people who are at risk of homelessness or face significant barriers to independent living. Our support goes beyond just providing shelter; we help residents develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to lead independent lives.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Our Bath-based Health & Wellbeing Centre offers a fully equipped gym, fitness areas, and a variety of classes to support overall wellness.
  • Commercial Hostels: We operate two hostels in Bath and Bristol, which not only serve as accommodation for travellers but also help cover central operational costs, allowing us to continue supporting vulnerable individuals in our community.
  • Youth & Childcare Services: We run 12 youth clubs, including four young carers groups, providing a space for young people to engage with trusted youth workers and build social networks. Our eight Ofsted-registered nurseries cater to up to 360 children, offering a strong foundation for their educational and life journeys.
