The Opportunity
As a Responsive Repairs Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive a high-quality, efficient repairs service that keeps their homes safe and well maintained. Leading a team of skilled operatives, you'll drive performance, maximise productivity and support first-time fixes, helping to deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
No two days are the same. You'll support and develop your team through regular meetings and coaching, resolve operational challenges, investigate complaints, monitor performance, and work with colleagues across the service to continuously improve how repairs are delivered.

What We’re Looking For
We believe in recruiting for potential as well as experience. Our ideal candidate will have:
Essential:
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification.
- Ability to display leadership skills to line manage a team comprising of multi skilled repair operatives.
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload and that of a team.
- Experience of completing pre & post inspections.
- Experience of delivering high standards of customer service.
- Experience of working in a property maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations, requirements and best practice
- Excellent decision making, communication and organisation skills.
- Understanding of ‘value for money’ and ‘right first time’
- Full driving license.
Desirable:
- Asbestos qualification.
- Experience of working in a management/supervisory position and demonstrating an excellent track record in staff management.
- Experience of working within a social housing organisation.
- Experience of using a range of I.T packages.
