·       Salary - £28,851 per annum, pro rata

·       Contract – Part time, Permanent

·       Hours – 18.75 per week

·       Location - Hertfordshire

·       DBS requirement – Enhanced with prison vetting

This role offers a starting salary within Nacro’s pay structure of £28,851 per annum with expected progression to £29,572 per annum within the first year, subject to meeting clear criteria and performance standards, with further pay progression available in the future. Our Finance, Benefit & Debt Advisors provide tailored resettlement support to individuals under probation supervision in the community, with the aim of supporting them with Finance Benefit and Debt needs, delivered via group and individual interventions, according to need. They work collaboratively in a multi-agency setting as required, maintaining professional relationships and appropriate confidentiality of information.

You will need to be a great communicator, enjoy working in a busy people focussed role, organised and solution focussed. The right candidate can engage with others and is non-judgmental. You will bring with you, integrity, a proactive attitude, and good ICT skills (MS Office including excel and custom databases).

Our ideal candidate will have experience of delivering interventions in a group setting with the ability to engage with and motivate challenging service users from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Knowledge of the criminal justice sector and finance, benefits and debt legislation are highly welcomed, however we will provide you with the relevant training and support required for the job.

This role requires regular travel across an allocated area and therefore, a Full Driving License and access to your own vehicle with business insurance are essential.
