The role

The Hub Welcome Coordinator provides a welcoming and supportive first point of contact for people accessing the Petrus Hub. Working within a No Wrong Door approach, the role helps individuals access the services, facilities and support they need to improve wellbeing, build independence and prevent crisis.

The postholder will coordinate access to practical support, maintain accurate records, uphold safeguarding and data protection requirements, and work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and partner agencies to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.

 

The right fit

  • You’re compassionate, empathetic, organised and proactive.
  • You have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable people, working in a community, housing, social care or customer facing environment would be essential.
  • You’re committed to delivering person-centred support and a non-judgemental approach.
  • You’re confident working with diverse individuals, managing records accurately and maintaining professional boundaries.
  • You can work as part of a team.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and equality are essential.
  • Experience of housing support or multi-agency working would be advantageous.

Petrus provides support services for people facing homelessness or in housing need. We are a charitable organisation and deliver both drop in and residential services in Rochdale and Oldham.
