Are you passionate about providing excellent housing services and helping residents to sustain successful tenancies? Do you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and making a positive difference in your local community?

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our Intensive Housing Management team. The post holder will be working with a mixture of introductory and secure tenants and the duties include:

  • General tenancy management, working with customers when we have identified needs which impact on their ability to manage their tenancy.
  • Low level tenancy enforcement and intensive management of cases within a defined caseload.
  • Arranging viewings and signing up new tenants when we have identified needs which impact on their ability to manage their tenancy.
  • Getting involved with customer consultation.
  • Making referrals to, and working with, partners and other organisations to sustain tenancies.
  • Ensuring effective safeguarding processes within our homes and communities.
  • Project work, which may include services around domestic abuse and housing, specified accommodation for adults with learning disabilities, temporary accommodation, services for young people leaving care etc.

At Derby Homes, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference every day, working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and dealing with a wide variety of housing and tenancy matters.

You will be part of a supportive and well-established team and will have the opportunity to contribute to service improvements, local initiatives and projects that help create stronger, safer, and more successful communities. If you're passionate about people, enjoy finding solutions and want a career where your work has a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is a combination of working from home and in the Local Housing Office so the ability to do so is paramount to the success in this role. This post is subject to a basic DBS check.
