Executive Administration Support
Role Overview
Use your senior PA or executive support experience to make a meaningful difference in Calderdale.
Happy Days UK is looking for a capable and trustworthy volunteer to provide high-level administrative support to our Chief Executive and senior management team. This fast-paced role involves sensitive information, so discretion, professionalism and sound judgement are essential.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are ideally looking for someone who has previously worked as a senior PA, executive assistant, or in a similar high-level administrative role.
- Previous senior PA, executive assistant or comparable high-level administration experience.
- Professional, trustworthy and discreet, with experience handling sensitive information.
- Confident communicating with senior leaders and Board members.
- Organised, accurate and able to take clear meeting minutes.
- Proactive, able to prioritise and comfortable completing work independently.
- Confident using email, Microsoft Word and other common office systems.
Desirable experience: HR administration, charity governance, or supporting Trustee or Board meetings.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive and senior management.
- Assist with confidential HR administration and maintain accurate records.
- Organise Trustee meetings, prepare papers, attend meetings, and produce clear minutes.
- Communicate professionally with Trustees, Board members, and other stakeholders.
- Manage correspondence, documents, actions, and deadlines.
- Work proactively and independently while handling all information confidentially.
Administration and Organisational Responsibilities
Time commitment
Hours are flexible and can be agreed. Trustee meetings are generally held during the evening, so some evening availability is required.
