About Happy Days UK

Happy Days UK is a charity based in Halifax, working across Calderdale to support people experiencing homelessness, addiction, poverty and complex needs. The organisation takes a trauma-informed, person-centred and harm-reduction approach, recognising that people accessing its services often face multiple, overlapping barriers to stability and independence.

Accommodation and support services

• Residential and supported housing properties across Halifax, managed in partnership with local housing providers and Calderdale Council
• Jubilee House, a dedicated service supporting people with complex needs
• A seasonal winter shelter for people who would otherwise be sleeping rough
• Housing and health & safety management, including property inspections and void turnaround

Happy Days UK works primarily with adults in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, who are homeless or in crisis, including people with addiction and complex support needs.

Working there
