Project Description
The project operates across Swansea and works with priority needs homeless people to provide housing related support within temporary accommodation as a safe alternative to Bed and Breakfast accommodation. The service provides residential support with the aim of meeting individuals’ needs, which promote independence and lead to a sustainable move-on. The project is funded through the Supporting People Programme Grant and is required to meet the Welsh Government’s National Outcomes Framework. The Framework’s four main aims are:
- Promoting Personal and Community Safety
- Promoting Independence and Control
- Promoting Economic Progress and Financial Control
- Promoting Health and Wellbeing
Purpose of Role
To coordinate and provide an effective housing management function that compliments the wider support provision in the service and helps to maximise income generation for The Wallich. To be responsible for ensuring all residential properties managed by the ABBA project are maintained to the satisfaction of our landlords and to a good standard for our Service Users who will be residing in them. The individual must be able to drive.
Please note: Driving licence is essential and must be able to drive projects own transit van and have access to own vehicle to travel if required.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check
