ORCD UK is a new UK charity working alongside ORCD Global, a humanitarian organisation that has worked across Afghanistan for over a decade. We are seeking a Trustee or Treasurer to join our founding board.As a Trustee, you would help shape our strategic direction, support good governance and use your professional experience to help build a new charity from the ground up.If you join us as Treasurer, you would additionally oversee financial governance, help establish sound systems and controls, support our charity registration, and advise the board on financial matters.If you are interested in the Treasurer role, we are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or someone with strong financial-management experience. For the Trustee role, we welcome applicants from any professional background who share our commitment to transparency, good governance and impact.The role is voluntary, flexible and remote, around 4 to 6 hours a month for the first few months and 4 hours thereafter, plus quarterly board meetings.
