YesAge Requirements: 18 PlusRole Summary: We are looking for volunteers to assist our newly refurbished Coffee Shop in providing a welcoming and pleasant environment for customers. This role requires someone with good communication and customer service skills. Key ResponsibilitiesTo provide a high level of customer service to customersBasic food preparationMake tea and coffeeTo ensure the tables and surrounding area are clean and tidyTo load and unload a dishwasherOperate a till and balance the daily takingsTo provide a prompt, pleasant and courteous service Personal qualities:Good communicator and willing to follow H&S instructionsCompassion and empathyTact and sensitivityExcellent communication skillsAbility to work alone and as part of teamGood attention to detailPolite and approachableProfessional approach Training requirements:As a Coffee Shop Volunteer you will complete the following training:Teesside Hospice mandatory trainingVolunteer induction trainingAny other training identified as appropriate to the role Support and supervision:You will assisted by our Facilities team leaders who will ensure that you have all the support you require to carry out the role.
