From creating fundraising campaigns and community events to delivering social media content, developing supporter communications and building relationships with local businesses and funders, this role will help raise both income and awareness.Key areas of responsibility include: Support delivery of the organisation’s fundraising strategyDevelop and nurture relationships with trusts, foundations, corporate partners, community supporters and potential major donorsResearch, prepare and submit high-quality funding applications and proposalsHelp grow and steward a strong base of individual supporters and donorsSupport and develop corporate partnerships and community fundraising opportunitiesLead engaging external communications across social media, digital platforms and marketing channelsGather, write and manage case studies, impact stories and family testimonials in a sensitive and ethical wayHelp strengthen the public profile and reputation across GloucestershireEnsure communications reflect the organisation’s values of compassion, inclusion and respect About YouWe’re looking for someone who has: Experience in fundraising, communications, marketing, partnerships or community engagementStrong written communication skills with the ability to write clearly, warmly and persuasively for different audiencesExperience creating engaging content for social media, websites, newsletters or campaignsAbility to build positive relationships with supporters, funders, businesses and community partnersStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlinesConfidence working independently while also collaborating as part of a small teamExperience gathering and writing case studies or impact storiesGood IT and digital skills, including familiarity with social media and communication platformsCommitment to the values of Home-Start and a belief in the importance of early intervention and family supportUnderstanding of the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion in both communications and fundraising If this sounds like you, then apply today!About the OrganisationJoin a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age.
