Job Description:
The Work Placement Coordinator will lead the end-to-end coordination of high-quality work placements for young people aged 17–25, including Care Leavers, SEND participants, young people at risk of homelessness and those who are NEET.
The post holder will proactively secure and progress placement opportunities across local employers, voluntary sector organisations and authority services, managing a live pipeline from initial engagement through to confirmed start date and resolving barrier s efficiently.
Working closely with Employment Advisors and partner services, the role will ensure placements are suitable, compliant and progressed at pace, maintaining clear communication with employers and internal stakeholders throughout.
The post will be based in Haringey Works and the postholder will work closely with HR, Recruitment and Learning Development services. The role requires confidence, initiative and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent placements in a fast-moving environment.
The successful candidate will have solid experience in employer engagement.
