Job Introduction
Are you dedicated to supporting people with more complex needs and enjoy working in a customer facing environment?
We are looking for someone like you to join our team! If we are a good fit for you, you will have the opportunity to work to support customers with more complex needs in temporary accommodation engage with support and find and sustain permanent accommodation.
What will you be doing?
In this role you will:
- provide accommodation based support to homeless clients with more complex needs
- assist clients access and engage with a wide range of services to promote their independence and wellbeing
- support clients to find permanent accommodation
- provide outreach support to those who have moved on, to ensure tenancies are sustained
About You
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- experience of supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
- the ability to devise support plans focused on achieving measurable outcomes
- experience of working in partnership with customers and other agencies to meet common goals
