We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Support Team Leader within Bridgend/RCT.
This is a permanent role working 28 hours per week.
You will need a full, current driving licence and use of a vehicle.
What you'll do
You will provide effective leadership to a team delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs, ensuring services are trauma informed and psychologically informed. Working closely with the Support Manager, you will oversee a caseload of complex cases, support the development and delivery of personalised support plans and risk assessments, and ensure excellent standards across housing and service delivery. You will supervise and develop colleagues, promote strong partnership working with external agencies, and ensure compliance with health and safety, contractual requirements and organisational standards while contributing to the ongoing improvement of the service.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of delivering support services to individuals with a range of complex. You will have a strong understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and housing-related support, alongside experience of working in a psychologically or trauma informed way. You will demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, be confident in managing challenging situations, and have good IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records. A QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and experience of supervising or leading colleagues is desirable but not essential.
