As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Housing Manager / Property & Partnerships Lead to support the expansion of our housing portfolio, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure our services remain compliant, safe, and high-quality.
About the Role
This is a varied and impactful role combining housing management, property sourcing, and partnership development.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of supported living properties while also working closely with landlords, Registered Social Landlords (RSLs), housing associations, local authorities, and other stakeholders to secure new housing opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone who is both operationally strong and commercially aware, with the ability to build relationships and drive service growth.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of supported housing services
- Source, negotiate, and secure property leases for supported living provision
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with housing associations, RSLs, landlords, and local authorities
- Ensure all properties meet compliance, safety, and regulatory standards
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality and safety
- Manage tenant relationships, responding to queries, concerns, and complaints professionally
- Oversee tenancy processes, including move-ins, move-outs, and property condition reporting
- Maintain accurate records of tenancies, agreements, and rental income
- Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and upkeep
- Enforce housing policies to promote a safe, respectful living environment
- Support crisis management situations, ensuring appropriate and timely responses
- Utilise property management systems to manage data, compliance, and financial records
Strategic & Partnership Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen partnerships with housing associations and external stakeholders
- Work alongside care providers and local authorities to ensure holistic, joined-up support
- Identify and develop new housing opportunities and schemes
- Support service growth through property acquisition and portfolio development
- Contribute to policy development and service improvement initiatives
What You’ll Need to Succeed
We are looking for someone who combines housing expertise with a strong values-based approach.
Essential:
- Proven experience in property sourcing and housing management
- Experience working with RSLs, housing associations, and landlords (local and/or national)
- Strong understanding of housing management, tenancy processes, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing a property portfolio within supported or social housing
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable:
- Experience within supported living or social care environments
- Knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and tenancy law
- Experience working with vulnerable groups (e.g. mental health, autism, homelessness)
- Familiarity with property management software systems
- Experience in service development or housing expansion projects
- Housing or estate agency qualification
You will be:

Working Environment
- Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evening meetings required
- Based between office and community/property visits
- Regular travel across the Midlands region
