The Role
This is a community-based housing support role requiring confidence and independence.
You will take ownership of a caseload and be responsible for:
- Supporting individuals to maintain tenancies and live independently
- Completing structured support plans, risk assessments and detailed digital case notes
- Conducting regular property visits and safety checks
- Managing anti-social behaviour and tenant disputes professionally
- Liaising with referral partners and local services
- Maintaining high documentation and compliance standards
You will be trusted to manage your workload independently and uphold professional boundaries.
This is not a shift-based care role. It is suited to someone comfortable working autonomously within the community.
Who This Role Suits
We are looking for someone who:
- Has solid experience in supported accommodation, housing support or homelessness
- Is confident working independently in the community
- Can manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
- Takes ownership of their responsibilities
- Understands that consistency, compliance and reliability matter
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in supported accommodation, housing support or social care
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults or homelessness
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Strong written English and IT skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
