We have an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to apply for the role of Homelessness Service Officer, within Thriving Communities. The role will be varied and rewarding, our customers are always put at the heart of our service provision ensuring we deliver excellent advice and assistance.
The role requires the successful applicant to work with colleagues in our Homelessness Service and with key partners to provide support to individuals at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
This post is for an initial 12 month period with the potential for extension.
Please note that the salary grade is under review and is likely to increase.
Who we are looking for…
The successful candidate must have experience of working with people including vulnerable clients & those with complex needs. Experience of working in partnership with statutory and non-statutory agencies in a customer-focused environment in the housing sector is essential.
You must have the ability to understand and apply homelessness legislation and relevant national quality standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
