Procurement Administrator
Brindley Place, Birmingham
Salary - £25,000 to £29,000 per annum – depending on skills and experience.
Contract type – Permanent
Working hours – Full Time. 37 hours per week Mon-Fri. Attending the office once per week.

About the role
You will be accountable for maintaining the performance, compliance and sustainability of suppliers and contractors delivering Goods, Services and Works across the business.
You will be accountable for the completion of credit checks and due diligence on new suppliers and actively manage these updates for the supply chain.
You will manage the timely updates of supplier and contract documentation on the GSA Supplier Portal (InTend/Proactis) and ensure the maintenance of user guides and provision of training and support for the optimum use of the supplier portal.
You will assist with ensuring the accurate and up to date maintenance of the Source to Pay system from a procurement perspective.
You will assist with the timely production of spend and compliance reports for the monthly publication of procurement KPI’s.
You will support the Procurement team with updates to the Procurement Hub, SharePoint site and the automated milestone approval process.
As and when required you will assist with reviewing utility invoices and expense codes and ensure payments are processed and coded correctly, along with dealing with utility queries.

About you
You will have experience of working with supplier and contract administration. You will be customer focused, both internally and externally, with a clear understanding of the ‘internal customer’ and their needs. Ideally you will have experience of the housing sector and some understanding of the recent Procurement Act 2023.
You will have experience of process improvements, continually analysing processes and driving change where required.
You will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, along with sound decision making skills. You will be able to develop effective internal and external working relationships and be a good team player.
You will be pro-active, self motivated with an enthusiastic positive approach to work.
You will have excellent interpersonal and effective written/oral communication skills. You will need to be competent with using MS office, especially MS Word and Excel. You will have experience of presenting financial data and recommendations.
