About the Role
As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting tenants to live independently and with dignity. This is a rewarding, people-focused role centred on building trust, confidence, and community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking in with tenants and providing a friendly, supportive presence
- Listening actively and offering emotional support
- Assisting with everyday activities such as shopping, cooking, and attending appointments
- Teaching new life skills and supporting goal-setting
- Planning activities that encourage independence and wellbeing
- Supporting tenants with benefits, managing finances, understanding bills, and using technology
- Maintaining accurate records, writing reports, and documenting daily activities
- Identifying and raising any concerns to help maintain a safe living environment
- Helping to build a warm, inclusive, and respectful community
Please note: This role does not involve personal care.
