Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Housing Inclusion Service for a passionate and dedicated individual who wants to make a real difference to the lives of some of our most vulnerable residents. We are looking for someone who is committed, enthusiastic, and motivated to support people experiencing complex needs and rough sleeping in the borough of Greenwich. This is a chance to join a dynamic team and play a vital role in helping individuals move away from homelessness and towards a more secure and independent future.
About the Role
As a Rough Sleeping Resettlement Officer, you will work directly with people who are rough sleeping in Greenwich, supporting them to access private rented accommodation and providing ongoing tenancy sustainment support. Your work will be person-centred, ensuring that each individual receives tailored assistance to overcome barriers and achieve long-term housing stability.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including housing providers, health services, and voluntary organisations, to deliver a holistic and targeted programme of support. This role is about more than just finding accommodation—it’s about enabling people to rebuild their lives and thrive in a settled home.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
- Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
- The ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy sustainment is desirable but not essential - what matters most is your passion and willingness to learn.
Why Join Us?
- Make a tangible difference in your community.
- Be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.
- Access to professional development and training opportunities.
If you are ready to take on a rewarding role where no two days are the same, and where your work truly matters, we would love to hear from you. Apply today and help us create lasting change for those who need it most.
