About Myshon
We’re a forward-thinking housing provider supporting vulnerable adults, including those with mental health challenges, learning difficulties, addiction issues, and physical disabilities. Our mission is to promote independent living within domestic, community-based settings tailored to individual needs.
We work in partnership with Care Providers and external agencies to help our tenants maintain tenancies, manage daily activities, and improve wellbeing, ensuring every individual is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
What You’ll Do
As a Tenancy Sustainment Coach, you’ll play a key role in helping individuals and families maintain their housing and avoid the risk of eviction or homelessness. This role is primarily based around Accrington and Burnley, but you’ll also need to travel to properties outside these areas.
You’ll:
- Manage a caseload of around 60 tenants, delivering tailored tenancy sustainment support
- Provide strengths-based coaching through regular property visits (at least monthly)
- Support tenants to understand their rights, tenancy obligations, and financial responsibilities
- Advocate on behalf of clients facing rent arrears, antisocial behaviour, or benefit disputes
- Liaise with landlords, housing providers, DWP, and other agencies to resolve tenancy issues
- Enable access to employment, training, and specialist services such as mental health or substance misuse support
- Complete property inspections, safeguarding referrals, and multi-agency panels as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records of coaching, outcomes, and risk assessments
- Ensure tenants keep up with commitments through their Universal Credit journal
- Contribute to service monitoring, evaluations, and continuous improvement
