YMCA Dulverton work in partnership with Somerset, North Somerset and Mid Devon Councils to deliver a number of supported accommodation options for young people aged 16-24 and those 18+ who are experiencing homelessness and/or rough sleeping.
The Homeless Support Manager will lead the Homeless Outreach Support Team in North Somerset. They will be passionate about providing high quality support for individuals rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping, and will be keenly interested in those they work with and support, ensuring they receive the best possible service.
The post-holder will work closely with North Somerset Council’s Rough Sleeper Co-ordinator and other Voluntary, Community, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCSFE) sector organisations who provide support and guidance for those experiencing or at risk of rough sleeping throughout North Somerset.
The successful candidate will be able to use a range of range of tools and techniques for motivating and engaging communities who traditionally may find it tricky to work with services.
