The Financial Controller is a core member of our organisation’s structure and leads on financial processes - reviewing effectiveness, recommending, and implementing improvements. They will also be a strategic partner to the Head of Finance in all areas of finance, including board responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who has worked in social housing previously and has a solid understanding of financial and management accounting as well as reporting.
To be successful in this role you will need to be an experienced people manager.
We are looking for a fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAEW, CPFA etc) with experience as a senior member of a finance team, someone who has a commitment to quality and excellent customer service.
You should have experience too of preparing VAT under the partial exemption regime, and a VAT shelter.
