We are now recruiting for a Housing Support Worker in the Wirral. This is on an Ad Hoc basis, covering shifts including days, nights and weekends, paying £13.68 an hour PAYE.
Your new role
- Support individuals to access and maintain suitable housing.
- Assess housing needs and identify appropriate accommodation options.
- Explain tenancy agreements, housing benefits, and tenant rights.
- Advocate for clients with landlords and housing providers.
- Assist with budget management and financial support programs.
- Provide support for homelessness and housing instability, including emergency solutions.
- Perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping and paperwork.
- Supporting tenants with Mental Health issues, Drug/Alcohol misuse issues.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in a similar role in Supported Housing
- Experience in dealing with mental health and substance misuse issues
- Enhanced DBS is required
