About us
Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our Corporate Partnerships team on a fixed term contract until the end of March 2027. The role sits within a 12-person Corporate Fundraising team, which has an overall target of c.£7m.
It is a truly exciting time to be joining Centrepoint, as we work towards our vision to end youth homelessness by 2037. Partnerships and support from our corporate partners is a key part of making this vision a reality.
The Corporate Partnerships Officer will be primarily responsible for supporting on the delivery of Centrepoint’s multi-year, 7-figure strategic partnership with Nationwide Building Society. This new partnership is the largest multi-year partnership in Centrepoint’s corporate portfolio to date, and a transformational partnership for Centrepoint and the young people we work with. Funding will support a range of measures to help young people experiencing homelessness across the UK.
Working between our offices in London/ Manchester, as well as from the partner’s head office on occasion, you will work alongside the Partnership Manager to support successful delivery of all aspects of the partnership, as well as taking ownership of your own projects. This will include supporting with fundraising and volunteering engagement with Nationwide colleagues, as well as administrative support across the partnership. You will provide excellent stewardship for this partnership and future corporate partners and identify opportunities to increase engagement and income.
About you
You will be ambitious and driven, ideally with experience within fundraising, account management or programme management. You will have great attention to detail and experience managing and prioritising a diverse workload. You will be an excellent communicator and networker, with the ability to form strong relationships externally and internally, including engaging with a range of stakeholders.
This role is a brilliant opportunity to gain experience in working on a large-scale, strategic partnership that reaches across the charity with touchpoints in many teams. You will work closely with the partnership manager and Nationwide, with responsibility for your own projects.
In particular, the post holder will:
- Support on the successful delivery of the Nationwide partnership, working alongside the Partnership Manager.
- Administrative support for the Nationwide partnership including partnership admin and finance processes such as invoicing, income coding, minute taking and recording information on the database.
- Support with managing and developing the volunteering process and opportunities for Nationwide colleagues, ensuring excellent stewardship.
- Support with logistical plans and recruitment for Sleep Out activity.
- Gather content and data to support in the compilation of reports on income, expenditure, and partnership impact.
- Develop and maintain proactive and effective working relationship with a range of cross functional teams and key internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent Centrepoint and the partnership at Centrepoint and third-party events.
The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned from time to time that are in line with the level of the role.
The role is offered on a hybrid-working basis with home working combined with 5 days/fortnight on average in our London or Manchester office. There will also be a requirement to travel to Nationwide sites as required (unlikely to be more than two times a month).
